2016 Junior Academic Decathlon
The Junior Academic Decathlon is an event for middle school students which enables them to have a friendly competition with other Catholic schools. There are eight individual subjects on which a member of each team is tested on. There are also two team events, Logic and Super Quiz. This takes months of studying and dedication, but in the end it is a fun activity to do.
Above is an example of my study guide for my individual subject, English. This helped me a great deal because of the repetitive practice and good examples.
Shown to the left is the study guide for one of my Super Quiz subjects, Literature. We were assigned a book called "The Five People You Meet In Heaven". It was the story of a man named Eddie who had passed away when trying to a save a little girl at the pier he worked at. Eddie then went to heaven and spoke to five different people who were vital to his life. I enjoyed reading the book and had fun being quizzed on it when studying.
